Main Showreel

This is all my best stuff edited together. An eclectic mix of Product design, Medical/Pharmaceutic, Television,Corporate, Special effects and Interior design

Vertu Handset Interactive movie

I have rendered one of the Vertu phones in Quicktime VR here. Quicktime VR used to be all the rage years ago as the best way of interactively showing an object. The file is 17MB so please be patient. Once it is loaded click your mouse in the window and you should be able to rotate the handset in two dimensions.

Cavendish square London

Marchday; a property developer wanted to make Cavendish square a more welcoming environment and I had to juxtapose their designs with the current state. I shot live video to show the traffic problems and seedy buildings. The 3D stuff is heavily researched with texture maps of every building on the square. The video was produced at 1024 x 576 for wide screen presentation, so some of the text is a bit illegible at web resolution.

Jaeger Le Coultre Divers Watch

This was created for the client's web page. I used the manufacturers data to create the watch model, which I then textured with the latest anisotropic shaders. The watch features an unusual barometric pressure gauge with abellows operation. There is a high definition version here.

Asset Interiors design presentation

Here we have your architectural walkthrough. In this case I built the whole thing from the ground up. I can work from a paper plan or bring in existing CAD data from AutoCAD or whatever. Obviously its better to get the clients CAD if it exists. It keeps costs down and reduces the potential for misunderstanding.

Roulette spin with "ball cam"

I've done quite a few Roulette games. I've got a good physics simulation to create realistic ball animation and I am good at producing technically accurate work which is easy to integrate into the game code. Here we have a camera "stuck" to the ball for a spin of the table.

Civic Architecture Presentation

This animation shows an ambitious design to connect a civic area with a park in Sandwell, West Midlands. The idea is that the line between the urban area and the park is blurred by having plants and grass on the bridge

Mobix workflow model

Mobix put video on mobile phones. This abstract creation shows the workflow between aquiring video in any form and getting it on to one of a range of mobile devices. The animation was originally made at 1024 x 576 for a widescreen display at exhibitions, and it loops.
