Vertu Signature Mobile Handset
These sections were created for the designers at Groovytrain. The Vertu handset is modelled from the original CAD data (Iges files).Sometimes this data does not reflect the exact shape of the components as many are hand finished, so it's still good to get ones hands on an actual handset. There is a downloadable Windows Media version here.

Liquid Metal Mercury Logo
To get something like this to look cool you have to run a liquid simulation using a particle system and the guidelines of physics. There is a downloadable Windows Media version here.

Party Balloons
What could be more fun than some pretty balloons! Again this is Physics driven to give a lovely crinkly bouncy motion. There is a downloadable Windows Media version here.

Jaeger LeCoultre Divers Watch
I was given manufacturer's data to create the watch model, which was then textured textured and lit to simulate a studio environment. The watch has an unusual barometric pressure gauge with a bellows type operation amongst other high end features. There is a high definition version here and a windows media version here here.

Fish with Fourfold Symmetry
An exercise in texturing loosely based on an Escher woodcut. There is a windows media version here here.

Cavendish Square London
Marchday, who own Cavendish Square in London, proposed a development bringing a safer and and more welcoming environment. I compared their scheme with the current state. I shot live video to show the pedestrian problems and the old plant buildings of the underground car park. The environment is heavily researched with texture maps of every building on the square. The presentation lasted a week in the square itself and was attended by many notable people. There is a downloadable Windows Media version here.

Asset Interiors design presentation
Here we have your architectural walkthrough. In this case I built the whole thing from the ground up. I can work from a paper plan or bring in existing CAD data from AutoCAD or whatever. Obviously its better to get the clients CAD if it exists. It keeps costs down and reduces the potential for misunderstanding.

Roulette spin with "ball cam"
I've done quite a few Roulette games. I've got a good physics simulation to create realistic ball animation and I am good at producing technically accurate work which is easy to integrate into the game code. Roulette games have lots of different animations of the ball throw to keep the screen interesting and unpredictable, and yet it must not be possible to predict the outcome of the game from which ball animation is playing. Here we have a camera "stuck" to the ball for a spin of the table.

Civic Architecture Presentation
This animation shows an ambitious design to connect a civic area with a park in Sandwell, West Midlands. The idea is that the line between the urban area and the park is blurred by having plants and grass on the bridge

Mobix workflow model
Mobix put video on mobile phones. This abstract creation shows the workflow between aquiring video in any form and getting it on to one of a range of mobile devices. The animation was originally made at 1024 x 576 for a widescreen display at exhibitions, and it loops.
